"Out of the Cedar Chest Antiques and Interiors" has provided Forsyth Friends with a wonderful space to display furniture and other household items that have been donated to us. Cedar Chest is located 129b Merchants Square, near Stars & Strikes, in Cumming. And our booth is located near the back of the store on the far-left aisle as you enter the store - you'll see the Forsyth Friends' flag at our booth. Items for sale are mostly like-new and include a complete dining room suite, two complete queen bedroom suits, lamps and lighting fixtures, and much more. Please visit our booth to check this out - when you buy some of our items, you'll be helping us help our community! We'll also accept donation of additional very gently used furniture and decorator items. Email us at forsythfriendsinc@gmail.comif you have items to donate.

PAST PROJECTS

Hurricane Relief
Our 2017 late-summer project was for hurricane relief in conjunction with the United Methodist Committee on Relief and the Cumming First United Methodist Church. Our volunteers helped in putting together more than 250 cleaning kits and and more than 1,200 hygiene kits to be sent to Texas for those affected by hurricane Harvey. Additional funds and merchandise are now being solicited to prepare kits for those affected by the hurricane in Florida.

Food Drive
Our Fall 2017 project was a food drive to help local Forsyth County food pantries stock their shelves before the Thanksgiving holiday.
